The navigator showed me something from her brother's research notes yesterday. Spoke of a great river that once existed and a guardian said to dwell within it. Most of it was speculation, but the description of the guardian was hard to ignore. A beast with massive jaws, a vertical eye, and thick leathery skin. She thinks it might be connected to the Crocodilian. Hunt them down and bring back one of their eyes, if you would.
